Ian took up photography back in 2004 where he worked with a close friend, covering Ice Hockey from Grass Roots level, Club, Conference, National and International games; a sport he still covers today.

 

From 2008 he started concentrating more on landscapes and coastal areas of the North East region.  Although he finds it a little more challenging, Ian finds it really rewarding by capturing what he sees and then bringing it to us with his beautiful images.

 

Ian is self taught and admits that he struggled when he first started, but after many years of studying, videos, and grabbing anything he could get his hands on to gain the knowledge of the camera, he kept going and you can see how it has paid off with his stunning collection.

 

Ian loves the North East coastline - there is simply no better place to be.
